You may remember Sheila and her husband Mark from their last eye-popping party, the Hogwarts-themed Christmas event. They were at it again this month, this time for Sheila’s birthday, with a very groovy 60s theme! Of course they pulled out all the stops, bringing in a plethora of entertainment and colorful decor to wow guests (most of whom showed up in full costume), as well as treating them to the appropriate musical¬†One Night With Janis Joplin at the Pasadena Playhouse afterwards.

The epic step-and-repeat included an original 1959 Volkswagon bug, and a Jimi Hendrix impersonator to pose with guests!

One of Sheila’s helpers dressed as a white rabbit to lead guests from the meeting spot where they parked to the party buses that transported them to the event. “Follow the white rabbit”!

Musician Evyn was on the scene serenading guests upon their arrival and during the bus ride.

Some of the fun included face-painting, fortune telling, henna artistry, and drawn caricatures
