Mowgli and Baloo are BFF’s and are hoping to be adopted together. It’s actually rather smart…just when you think you can’t resist the cuteness of one, the other will appear and overpower you in a hailstorm of Pitiful Puppy Eyes!

Snoopy’s photo is dying to be captioned.  I kind of want to put a little thought bubble above his head that reads, “You want me to do what?”

Pluto has the worst story I’ve ever heard—on top of being a stray at a shelter to begin with (which obviously is bad enough), she was recently adopted by an elderly woman who was in a car crash while driving Pluto home from the shelter! The woman was paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of her life, and poor traumatized Pluto is now back at the shelter because her new owner can’t care for her after the wreck! I’m not making that up. Pluto needs somebody to show her that car rides can be fun again!

Jumper likes to stand on his hind legs. Not everyone figures out there are ways around being a foot tall!

The weird thing about Tahoe is that he looks and acts JUST like Charlie from All Dogs Go to Heaven. He’s got the same friendly grin and floppy Don Bluth movement…no, seriously! So there you have it…if you ever wanted a dog like the one from that movie, Tahoe is at the shelter and waiting for you.

I accidentally called Jack “Toto” while photographing him, I hope he wasn’t insulted.

“Give me your best puppy face! Good dogs!!”

Cats and kittens are 25% off this month at the OCHS shelter—it’s not too late to pick up this sweetheart on the cheap!

Seal (”named after Heidi Klum’s husband,” I was told), is a little cross-eyed. Not that Seal-the-celeb is cross-eyed, too.

He’s about eight months old, and I’ve had him for about a month now. He was feeling photogenic tonight. Isn’t he cute??

Prior to Sarah & Nate’s wedding at Hans Fahden Vineyards outside Calistoga, Matt & I had never been to the Napa area before.  I was aware that quite a few wedding photographers from Southern California had held their own weddings in NorCal wine country, and upon arriving, I understood why. It is gorgeous up there, especially in the springtime. We weren’t in Calistoga for more than thirty minutes before I decided I wanted to move there, haha!

I ought to also give a shout out to our airline, JetBlue. We had a super laid-back, comfortable flight. Low-key Long Beach airport and the über-accommodating JetBlue is what air travel ought to normally be like, or from what I hear, air travel used to be like back in its heyday, before security got tight and First Class was created and luxuries removed from us peons who normally sit in the back.  And it’s phenomenally less expensive than other airlines…how about that??

But I digress…
