I don’t know what everyone else was doing on Halloween, but Matt & I shot an UNFORGETTABLE wedding that day!! Leanne (aka “Sparkles”) and Tommy love Halloween, and love pirates. So getting married on Halloween with a pirate-themed wedding was a no-brainer!

They used Leanne's mother's backyard garden for the small private ceremony. It rained the night before but the sun came out for a spooktacular wedding day!

This was truly special; Sparkles and Tommy had a "haunted" portrait of themselves specially drawn by Crab Scrambly, which they used for invitations and such.

Tommy heard The Pirates Charles on the radio one day and called them up to see what they were doing on Halloween. A more fitting band for a pirate wedding simply does not exist, methinks. They were fantastic performers.
