Threatening thunderclouds on their wedding day couldn’t stop Julie & Mike, who may in fact be my most inspirational couple of the year.  Never fear—the sun emerged in time for a sweet and emotional ceremony officiated by Rev. Barbara Laughry at Faith Lutheran’s Garden Chapel in Canoga Park, and the perky, colorful decoration and ideas by Charm Event Design made Julie’s parents’ backyard sparkle for the reception.

These wedding invitations by Charm Events are pretty impressive---they managed to merge two different images (one of toddler Julie and one of toddler Mike) into one picture to make them look like...well, soulmates!

Mike's mother had the honor of helping him get ready

Mike has the most AMAZING wedding ring by Kinekt Design, I really could not stop playing with it. It has moving gears that rotate when you twist it!

Julie could hardly contain herself during "the reveal" when she saw Mike for the first time. One of the best reveals ever!

Thanks to the vision and professionalism from the ladies at Charm and Julie and Mike’s ever-present mellow attitudes and patience, I can definitely say it was an event that nobody will ever forget!  Congratulations to J&M!
