From the moment we met Alana and Alex it was abundantly clear that they wanted a beautiful, perfectly personalized wedding day. They opted for a more unique twist on their engagement session, which we did in the evening at the OC Fair about a month before the wedding. They also opted for peacock feathers as a recurring design element during their wedding day, and this led to peacock feathers at every place setting and feathery wings adorning the flower girls who dropped floaty white feathers down the aisle instead of petals. I was amazed that the weather hovered under 95F that day….incredible for an August wedding in Calabasas! The country club has some gorgeous, gorgeous light…some of the best I’ve ever worked with at a golf club. Of course the only thing no one could have predicted was the rogue sprinkler that shot off before the bouquet toss, hitting the dancefloor—lucky it was a warm night, too!
