Brittany and Tom come from such warm, loving, and supportive families who were itching at the opportunity to help create and plan the perfect wedding for them, particularly since the couple themselves hail from the SF Bay area instead of locally in Long Beach. All that assistance paid off in the form of a beautiful June affair at LBMA! Big thanks to Luminaire Images associate Michelle for lending her considerable talents towards capturing this loveliness.Pre-Ceremony Venue: Hyatt Regency Long BeachWedding Venue: Long Beach Museum of ArtCoordination: Heather WilsonFloral Design: Monica KovachFlower Girl Dress: Pippa & Julie (Nordstrom's)Bridesmaid Dresses: Allure BridalsWedding Dress: Paloma Blanca from Bridal ProjectGarter: Fallen Star Couture Inc.Hairstyling/MUA: Maggie Williams/Nicole ArmstrongDessert/Cake: Lisa's Bon AppetitVideography: Video Ventures ProductionsDJ: Grayt Scott DJ ServicesOfficiant/Guitarist: Scott GrilloLoved these ethereal soft blush bridesmaid dresses! That flower girl! I seriously cannot get enough of her! LOL!The parent dances are often my favorite part of a wedding. So much love and emotion. ESPECIALLY now that I'm a parent, too!Congrats to this happy couple!
It's always an honor when an employee or other representative of a business within the events industry asks us to photograph their own wedding, and Nallely and Ivan's wedding at the lovely seaside Long Beach Museum of Art will have been our second wedding in a year for a LBMA employee. This particular couple put a lot of time and thought into their event, including some adorable DIY details and some Eastern European wedding traditions to delight Ivan's Bulgarian family members.Venue: Long Beach Museum of ArtHair/makeup: Cindy AntezanaFloral Design: Bride & BloomCakes: Porto's BakeryDJ: DJ Jose Lemon
The couple included the clever idea of putting "advice cards" on each table instructing guests to write words of advice for Nallely and Ivan to read on the anniversary corresponding with the table's number:
OK, can I just take a moment to talk about how beautiful these cakes were? It's when I see desserts like these from Porto's Bakery that I start feeling a little envious of the guests. There wasn't a crumb left after they were served, by the way! More gorgeousness:
In accordance with Bulgarian custom, Nallely and Ivan broke a ceremonial loaf of sweet bread over their heads to see who would get the bigger half (and thereby act as the head of the household!).
A few nighttime portraits around the museum...
Congrats to Nallely and Ivan! So many happy years ahead of you!
Amy and Coleman, the gorgeous couple you may remember from their beachy/football-y engagement session, got hitched a couple weeks ago on a glorious summery day on a cliff overlooking the bright blue Pacific. Their wedding is definitely one for the record books--amazing weather, amazing food, amazing venue, amazing entertainment, and TONS of amazing details. If you ask anyone who was there, they will surely nod and say such that it was a pretty amazing wedding, and that nothing less was expected from such an amazing couple!Venue: Casa Romantica Cultural Center & GardensFloral/Event Design & Planning: Natalie Good, A Good AffairCatering: Iva Lee's CateringDJ: DJ Todd, Essential Mobile MusicHair & Makeup: Amanda Davison, Lasting LookCake & Cookies: Simply Sweet CakeryInvitations: DIY'ed, from Paper SourceWedding Dress: Matthew ChristopherBride's Shoes: GlintGarter & Ring Pillow: Etsy
