Michelle and Jason's wedding was right in between Christmas and New Year's, which IMO is a great time for cozy festivities since most people are in full "party mode" at that time of year. Of course, you may have to contend with a little cold and rainy weather (we did) but Michelle and Jason made sure that there was a live Celtic band to teach traditional dances, British Christmas "crackers," specialty cocktails, and a popcorn bar---so plenty to keep a body warm and occupied while indoors! This couple actually wed in an elopement ceremony in October witnessed only by immediate family and close friends. What an adorable couple. Apparently they have been friends since childhood, despite a staggering distance---Michelle is from Scotland!Ceremony Venue: Los Altos United Methodist ChurchReception Venue: SeaCliff Country ClubFloral Design: Visser's FloristHairstylist & Makeup: Vanity Belle Makeup & Hair ArtistryBand: Highland WayCoordination: Life's Special Moments Weddings & EventsCeremony Live-Streaming: Great OfficiantsDress (Bride): Pattis BridalShoes (Bride): Victoria Delef POPCORN BAR. What a great (and delicious) idea! My fave was "sea salt 'n cracked pepper," but the "bacon cheddar" flavor was interesting, too.Christmas crackers! If you're unfamiliar with the custom...LOL at the bouquet toss. The shoes are coming off!!Michelle and Jason also opted to take advantage of our "open air photobooth" services using a custom beachy background they furnished themselves. It was quite a hit.
